Mama and Her Boys {sneak peek}

September 30, 2009

Another session at Meadowbrook Hall!  I photographed this family on Sunday afternoon and these boys were great!  A note to parents thinking of booking a session with me: Bribery Works!!!  These boys came with their smiles ready as mom promised ice cream afterwards.  I hope they ordered monster ice cream cones because they did an awesome job.  The older boys are goofy and simply adore their younger brother.  They made him smile, they made him giggle - they made me laugh!  Thank you for spending your afternoon with me - Enjoy your sneak peek!

Portrait Party {sneak peek}

September 23, 2009

I recently had the pleasure of photographing 9 fantabulous families at Meadowbrook Hall on the Oakland University campus in Rochester.  Amy called me inquiring about a portrait party - - instead of hosting at her home and doing studio work, she chose to do an outdoor party, which worked out perfectly!  All of these families were great to work with and cute to boot (I swear kids keep getting cuter and cuter)!  A quick shout out to Amy who organized the whole affair!  Thank you all for coming out for your quickie sessions - - - enjoy your sneak peek!

My Little Man {preschool}

September 10, 2009

First, let me apologize for the lack of blog posts lately.  I’ve been consumed with end of summer chaos!!!  I almost feel like I am smack dab in the middle of the Holiday season.  On that same note, if you are interested in booking a Holiday session, please contact me asap.  I have very limited openings between now and mid-November.

Since I haven’t been posting sneak peeks on the blog, I thought I’d better share something so you all don’t think my boys locked me in the attic!  Today was my Porkchop’s first day back to preschool.  He was beyond excited this morning to go back, sporting his new sock monkey backpack and shoes covered in scary monsters.  He had such a great time today that when I picked him up, he didn’t want to have a special lunch with mommy - instead, he asked if he could eat lunch with his friends.  He’s growing up way too fast.

I hope your children have had a wonderful summer and are excited about learning and exploring their creativity this school year!

And the first morning back to school would not be complete without the signature kung fu moves.  I’ll have to warn his teacher that Mr. Luke thinks he’s the next Jackie Chan. . .
