Do you remember this mommy and daddy to be?

It is my pleasure to introduce Madysen Rose, born on Father’s Day (how perfect is that?!?!?) and weighing in at 8 lbs. 8 oz.  I visited the Lucas Family on Sunday and could not be more excited for them that their perfect baby girl has arrived and is as sweet as ever.  Thank you for having me over to photograph and meet your little blessing! 

Ahhhh, Hadley.  She is going to be a heartbreaker with her stunning eyes and gorgeous grin.  Hadley and her family came to me through The Littlest Heroes Project.  Hadley is a goofy two year old who suffers from a rare liver disorder called Biliary Atresia.  At her most recent doctor visit, her levels were on target!  WOO HOO!   

We met up in downtown Plymouth on Saturday evening to capture some fun moments.  The Schoenborn family is laid back (mom even sat on the ground in her white skirt!), fun (the kids cooled down with some ice cream in their fancy clothes!) and always smiling.  I’ve been communicating with Hadley’s mom since February and I knew I would fall in love with their family when I met them in person.  I really enjoyed this session - so much so, that I’m going to do a slideshow with all the images from the session - so check back for that one.

I was warmly welcomed into this family’s home - they were kind and generous and a blast to hang out with for an afternoon.  Their house was a fantastic backdrop for photographs both inside and out.  Thank you Ewing Girls for choosing me to photograph your family.  Enjoy your sneak peek!!

A couple posts down I told ya’ll about the portraits I had done with Jen Kniivila of Visual Poetry.  I’m planning to make some of these into ginormous cavases to hang in my home.  She did a fantastic job and I’m just so happy to have some photos of Porkchop and I together.  Thanks Jen!!!

And, I had her take a couple of just myself so I could update my biz pictures.

I think this has to be one of the most beautiful women I have photographed.  Her eyes are happy and sparkling, her tinge of a smile contagious - I just think she is absolutely stunning.  Stay tuned for more photos from the weekend!!

I recently contacted a fellow photographer friend, Jen Knivilla, to ask if she’d take some photos of Luke and I together.  Because I am always behind the camera, photos of my Porkchop and I are seriously lacking.  Being a photographer, Jen was in the same boat.  So we headed to Ann Arbor with our kiddos and took photos of each other.  She wanted some photos with her daughter, and some sans-adorable-little-girl to use for business purposes.  Thanks, Jen, for a fun afternoon.  I will be posting the images of Luke and I soon!
